Veronika Kring
Biography
Veronika Kring comes from a German family of successful Artists.
Edith Kring, Veronika’s mother, was an accomplished Artist of international renown specializing in Linocuts.
Veronika’s Formal training and background in Interior Design & Graphics has enabled her to combine the athsetics of art while comenting on social and political trends.
Veronika currently has a very large following on Social Networks, which include Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn where her artwork is promoted.
Veronika works between her Studio - Art Haus Gallery in a town renowned for Artists … Victor Harbor and her studio in Victoria Square, Adelaide.
Recent successful Art Exhibitions include the acclaimed ‘Obama Invictus’ series, which attracted a lot of controversy.
Among Veronika’s inpirations are the lyrics and music of Bob Dylan, U2 and Coldplay.
Veronika also has a special interest in German Street Art of which she is currently working on a Series.
Recently Veronika has been short-listed for the prestigious Cricket Art Prize 2011 , with her Oil Painting ‘ Future Cricket ‘. The Cricket Prize Exhibition will tour for 5 months in duration, travelling from Sydney – Members Pavilion, Sydney Cricket Ground to Melbourne and then onto the International Cricket Hall of Fame – Bradman Museum.
